The Hold Steady - Boys and Girls in America *

I'm seeing these guys in a few weeks. I'm pumped! Small venue. Lots of aging indie rockers. Some beers here and there. I'm going to predict an 8.4 for this album. Actual rating: 9.4. Point differential: 1.0.

Boys and Girls in America is definitely the album of the year.

Enjoy this show!

With all the build up towards this album on the old P-Fork I think you might want to re-check your prediction. It's probably going to be about an 8.8.

You are likely right if it's as good as everyone says. PF certainly seems to have a boner for it.

My guess is it gets a 9.3 on PF. They gave Return to Cookie Mountain a 9.1, and this album beats it out...as if they are even comparable, they sound so damn different. But still, this has got to get their highest rating of the year.

This record is a 10.0. Hands down. If PF gives it any less they are a bunch of morons.
