A classic example of Brutalist architecture attempts to predict Pitchfork's ratings for some exciting new releases, and discusses other things musical along the way.

I'd love to see Pitchfork review Hell Songs. It seems like the site has strayed from the grind side of metal lately, and with An Albatross' latest coming in as fairly mediocre by their standards, I'm not sure what they might award Daughters. The band has made the leap to Hydra Head, which could hint at a refinement of their sound, and also should help the staffers at the 'fork notice Hell Songs' release.
Daughters are pretty highly regarded among their scene, and at the top of that game, I can see Pitchfork handing out a low 7.
Off by 0.5. Not too shabby.
